Hey, I'm Cosmin

I'm a solo founder and developer based in Romania, building tools and apps for bootstrappers and early-stage businesses.

My Story

I started out doing custom development work—web apps, mobile apps, the full stack. But I noticed the same problem over and over: people with great ideas were spending weeks just trying to get a landing page live.

That frustration led to Micropage. I wanted to create something that took minutes instead of weeks, that required no coding knowledge, and that actually looked professional. The result is a markup language so simple you can learn it in an afternoon.

Maproll came from the same instinct. I kept needing quick, embeddable data maps and hated wiring up heavy mapping libraries for a single chart. So I made a service that turns a URL into a production-ready choropleth map you can drop anywhere an image tag works.

Officially started with a simpler question: what did this organization actually publish? Governments, regulators, and companies scatter their announcements across newsrooms, feeds, and portals. Officially pulls them from the source into one archive and API—tracking provenance, not judging truth.

Wit is for writers. Most writing apps are either bloated word processors or plain editors that leave you guessing how the finished page will look. Wit is a quiet, open-source editor that shows your book or script typeset as you write, keeps your files local, and costs nothing.

What I Believe

Good tools should get out of your way. They should be fast, simple, and let you focus on your actual product. I don't believe in bloat, unnecessary features, or forcing you into a framework that doesn't fit.

I'm bootstrapping my products myself, which means I'm deeply committed to shipping quality and listening to what users actually need.
